The student underwent 288 hours of practical training at PhilBest Canning Corporation in Tambler, General Santos City. She worked in two departments of the company, namely, the Production Department and the Quality Assurance Department. In the Production Department, she was assigned to observe the process of flow of the raw materials from unloading to shipping of the finished goods. She also took part in some plant operations. In the Quality Assurance Department, she was assigned to participate in the laboratory analysis of the raw materials and the finished product evaluation. During the duration of the plant practice, there were minor problems observed for which recommendations were made.
