520			_aThis study aimed to describe the dynamics Barangay Kapatagan Public Market, Barangay Kapatagan, Digos City, Davao del Sur. The proponent identified key informants through the use of random sampling. A survey questionnaire and in- depth interview were made among 40 respondents, containing inquiries about their day-to-day marketing activities and rental payments to the barangay to the months of January- May 2004. the data gathered were tabulated, summarized and analyzed. The proponent designed a system analysis approach in order to analyze the market place of Barangay Kapatagan, Digos City, Davao del Sur. The study has carefully described the current market status and day-to-day marketing activities in Barangay Kapatagan Public Market. In which, the current market of Barangay Kapatagan has a very good potential to develop into a huge market and it could also provide an effective approach for invigorating other agrarian communities in the Philippines.
