520 3 _aThe plant practice was conducted at Nenita Quality Foods Corporation at Marapangi, Toril, Davao City during the period April 16 to May 28, 2002. She was assigned to the different major departments of the company: Fresh Meat Department, Quality Assurance Department and Production Department. She had observed the different processing procedure of meat products in the production area. She also conducted some laboratory analyses in the QAD laboratory with the QAD personnel. Lectures were given by the plant manager to explain the concept of food processing and the regulations implemented by the company. The author did actual hands-on packaging of the company's different products. Several problems were encountered during the duration of the practicum and some recommendations were presented
