The 288 hours of plant practice aimed at providing the student with adequate exposure on the plant?s processing and production line and to document the information from the plant such as the organizational set-up, historical background, mission and vision. The student was assigned to different areas and activities f the plant such as milking operation, raw milk collection from the farm, raw milk receiving and screening, production line monitoring, and physico-chemical/ microbiological testing of raw milk ad milk products as part of the quality control monitoring procedures.
