It consisted of three modules: the locator module that would automate the process of searching the location of a student, faculty member or room given a name (student name, faculty name, room name) or a number (student number, faculty number, room number), the room availability module that would automate the process of searching the list of all available room given the day, time interval and number of participants in need of room, and the module that would allow the visualization and navigation of a static two- dimensional architectural design of the university campus and the floors of each academic building. The application could only locate the room on which a student or faculty member is currently having a class. It could not locate a student or faculty member based on its current position. The application does not include the factor of new building construction and renovations. It only visualized a static university campus and floors of each of the university academic buildings and is therefore not subject to changes. In a University like UP Mindanao that covers a wide area and whose buildings are separated from one another, the application would be very useful to students, faculty members and specially visitors or guest who might not have the slightest idea on the location of the university rooms and buildings. The application would also be very useful in finding available room/s for an event given the day/s, time interval, and number of participants. The application would serve as an online map for the university that would very much help the students, faculty and even individuals outside the university ER -
