N2  - Twenty-one Philippine Eagles in captivity (Pithecophaga jefferyi) were visually examined for ectoparasite infestation. Feather mites and scaly-leg mites were found on the eagle. Based on their characteristics, the feather mite belongs to Family Pterolichidae and the scaly-leg mite belongs to Family Psoroptidae
