Such stories and portrayals of an identity are often mistreated and misrepresented. However, in the rise of independently made films, more voices become louder and more representation of marginalized group in the Philippines are showcased. This qualitative research analyzed three (3) recently made movies that have lesbian themes and thoroughly looked into the meanings their narratives create.
