The project was developed not just to facilitate online voting but also to provide election utilities that will respond to the specific needs of the students, candidates and election Management Officers (EMOs) of UPMin. The system composed of the three integrated Internet applications namely the Administrator client, the EMO client, and the student client. They operate to provide functional applications where a student election can be managed efficiently and with integrity. Primarily, it facilitates customized online voting and computerized ballot counting feature that produced a graphical, printable and non-editable election reports. Moreover, it has fraud detection mechanism, which detects whether the vote entries of each student is maliciously manipulated by hackers or by the administrator. Also, the system provides ballot receipts in simple text file, which the students can use to verify their votes either directly to the administrator or online. Although the ballot receipts are editable text file, the system still has mechanism to verify the documents? authenticity. The Ballot Tracker is another important feature, which monitors the ballot entries of the student from possible malicious manipulations of any intruder. With the combining functionalities of the three Internet applications, the proponent was able to find a new system that meets the specifications of the student election of UPMin
