Dissertation note: Thesis (BS Computer Science) -- University of the Philippines Mindanao, 2000 Abstract: This system is a Java based application which automated the transactions in the cash office of the University pf the Philippines in Mindanao. It automated the management of vouchers and receipts, receiving fees, releasing checks and creating reports filed by the office. This application is created for use by the cash office personnel of UP in Mindanao and is designed with a user-friendly interface for easy manipulation. This system is part of UP Mindanao Integrated Information Management System which is compose of many subsystems connected to a centralized database. This system which is capable of monitoring every input, which prevents errors to ensure safety of data during transactions. It also has the features to print preview checks, receipts and reports; management of application users; and an efficient search engine. With this system, the cash office personnel could maximize their time and increase their productivity
