The student underwent practical training at PhilBest Canning Corporation in Tambler, General Santos City. The purpose of the practicum was to develop the skills and acquire additional techniques in the processing operations of canned tuna. During the duration of the practicum, she was given a chance to take part in the processing of canned tuna and was exposed to the different areas in the production line and the microbiological and chemical laboratories. With the exposure, the trainee gained knowledge in canned tuna processing. She observed some problems during the training and presented suggestions and recommendations in avoiding these problems.
