Barangay Pagsabangan in Tagum City is considered to be a flood-prone area due to its site conditions which causes destruction of properties and affecting the livelihood of the residents in the community. This study aims to measure the community resilience and provide a flood-resilient community housing given the flooding conditions of the selected area. The main indicators selected in this study are the susceptibility of the environment, risk management and vulnerability reduction, and disaster preparedness and response were given proper weights using a subjective assessment method that eventually resulted in the calculation of the community resilience of the area. A total of 250 households from thirteen puroks of the barangay were selected through the simple random sampling technique for questionnaire survey. The results showed that the community has a community resilience of 3.16 which is medium resilience meaning there should be a development and implementation of solutions. The proposed measures will enhance flood resilience of the community so that they would be able to cope with possible future flooding.
