Summary, etc. The author was accepted to conduct her plant practice at the Quality Assurance Department of Kraft Foods Philippines, Incorporated in Paranaque City. The student underwent 288 hours of practical training from April 21 to May 28, 2003. She was directly involved in the activities of the Quality Assurance Department and encountered actual problems that are normally faced by the food industry. This experience gave the student a chance to be exposed to the plant and participate in its operations where the principles and theories learned from the academe were applied. The author was also able to acquire first hand information about the company's various products, their processing procedures, laboratory activities and Good Manufacturing Practices.
